Allowances and premiums
The University operates a number of allowances and premiums, some of which require authorisation by the Reward Team.
These include:
- Payment for additional, temporary responsibilities ('acting-up allowance')
- Responsibility allowance
- Variable shift premium
- On call and standby arrangements
- Market pay
- Long service allowance
