Induction
Prior to the start date, the UAS Personnel team will provide all new employees with basic information about the University and UAS. All new staff should meet with the Personnel Administrator on their first day, or as soon as possible after starting, to complete all the required payroll and registration paperwork.
Differences in operational procedures and requirements across UAS departments mean that the responsibility for the main induction process lies most comfortably with the employing department and the line-manager. To help with this, the Oxford Learning Institute provide guidance and training on developing and running induction programmes. They also host an online induction programme which is available to all staff, as well as various training courses.
