Differences in operational procedures and requirements across UAS departments mean that the responsibility for the main induction process lies most comfortably with the employing department and the line-manager. To help with this, the Oxford Learning Institute provide guidance and training on developing and running induction programmes. They also host an online induction programme which is available to all staff, as well as various training courses.

There is the UAS Induction Programme that all new staff (or new to the UAS staff) should be booked on, and the links to the right highlight the main induction programmes that all (or most) staff should attend.
