John Fell OUP Research Fund Committee
Terms of Reference
The Planning and Resource Allocation Committee (PRAC) is responsible for the administration of the John Fell Fund OUP Research Fund, in consultation with the Research Committee. The John Fell OUP Research Fund Committee is a joint sub-group of PRAC and Research Committee, with the following terms of reference:
- to allocate grants out of the John Fell OUP Research Fund in support of research;
- to report to PRAC and Research Committee annually on the administration of the fund, including the awards made and the outcome of projects funded.

| Professor P. Grant | Member of the MPLS Division appointed by PRAC and Research Committee after consultation with the Head of the MPLS Division |
| Professor P. Madden | Member who is not an employee of the University (but may be a college employee), appointed jointly by PRAC and Research Committee |
Note In the event that the Head of Division (or his or her nominee) is unable to attend a given meeting, they may either brief the other member of the division on the committee to present divisional comments at the meeting, or propose that another member of the divisional panel that ranks John Fell applications attend in their place: attendance by another member of the divisional panel is subject to the approval of the Chairman, who should be consulted by the Head of Division as soon as possible.
