Infrastructure Charge
Overview
The Infrastructure Charge is the mechanism by which the academic departments fund the services provided centrally. It is referred to as the 123 model due to the fact that there are three basic types of charge in the model (Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3).
The University’s Planning and Resource Allocation Section (PRAS) maintains and operates the 123 Infrastructure Charge model in line with the recommendations of BSC as agreed by PRAC.
