Student Clubs
Students who are running clubs where membership is also open to people from other colleges can apply to register these with the Proctors.
The clubs need to meet various criteria to obtain official recognition. But when registered the clubs are entitled to receive benefits like I.T. access, insurance cover, minibus hire, financial support. These registration arrangements include student publications.
Unregistered clubs are not allowed to use "Oxford University" in their names (or to use the university's coat of arms).

Support for registered clubs (especially non-sports and publications) is provided through the Clubs Committee chaired by the Assessor.
