Research data management resources

In the academic year 2012-13, the Jisc-funded DaMaRO Project (a joint endeavour between IT Services, the Bodleian Libraries, and Research Services) developed a set of research data management training resources. These are freely available for download and re-use, either in a public/classroom context or for personal study.

Induction resources

These consist of a set of short slideshows with an accompanying hand-out. They are designed to provide a quick introduction to key research data management issues (plus some pointers to further information), and are suitable for use in induction sessions for new researchers or similar events.

Teaching materials

Materials are available for a half-day Introduction to Research Data Management course. The course consists of a mixture of presentation and practical exercises. A slideshow with presenter's notes plus hand-outs are provided.

A shorter presentation, Ten Top Things Researchers Need to Know About Research Data Management, is also available.
