Research Facilities and Equipment
This section pulls together the guidance that has been received from the Research Councils regarding changes to equipment funding, information on the University’s research equipment and facilities designated as Small Research Facilities (SRFs), including a comprehensive facility listing, and the work being done at Oxford as part of the 'Research Equipment Use and Sharing Project'.
We hope to encourage departments with research facilities and equipment to consider establishing them as SRFs to promote shared use and greater utilisation. Oxford currently has 15 departments who have registered their equipment and facilities as SRFs, and the guidance contained in this section has been developed with help from departmental colleagues and members of the FEC Users Group.
