Managing your FP6 Projects

Financial Guidelines

The Financial Guidelines (entitled 'Guide to financial issues relating to indirect actions of the Sixth Framework Programmes') are supplementary to the EC contract, Annex II General Conditions, and set out in detail what constitutes, for instance, eligible costs, receipts, calculation of financial contributions from the EC, payment modalities, and reimbursement to the Commission.

The guidelines can be downloaded from the Find a Document area of the Cordis (FP6) website.

Guidance notes on FP6 Project Reporting

The Commission has produced some guidance notes to assist consortiums in preparing the necessary project reports and deliverables to be submitted by project coordinators on behalf of consortiums. The guidance notes also describe the procedures for the submission of the reports and deliverables to the Commission and contain brief explanations of the review procedure.

Different sets of guidance notes have been produced for the following:

  • Integrated Projects, Networks of Excellence, Specific Targeted Research or Innovation Projects, Coordination Actions, Specific Support Actions, Co-operative Research Projects and Collective Research Projects.
  • Marie Curie Actions
  • Research Infrastructure Actions

All project reporting guidance notes can be downloaded from the Find a Document area of the Cordis (FP6) website.

Note that all financial project reporting has to be managed in conjunction with (and authorised by) Research Accounts. For any enquiries on EU post-award management (including Euro Advances and payment to collaborators) please contact Research Accounts on ext. 70180.
