An Introduction to Full Economic Costs (FEC) and Resolve workshops
The Introduction to Full Economic Costs (FEC) and Resolve Workshops are being run on a regular basis at BSP Hythe Bridge Street (see below for dates). The workshops are PC-based and hands-on and include a practice exercise. Each group has a maximum of six people and there are plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Target Audience:
This is a basic course intended for new administrators, research facilitators, finance officers or any departmental staff who need to have an understanding of Full Economic Costs (FEC) and who need hands-on experience of using Resolve.
Topics to be covered:
The Workshop is split into two parts: session A covers the background and introduction to FEC and lasts for approximately 1 hour, and Session B covers how to create a costing using Resolve. It is recommended that participants attend both sessions, however staff with an existing understanding of FEC may wish to attend session B only. If this is the case please specify this when making the booking on the Finance web pages.
