Laser Safety
The University's use of lasers is both vast and broad, with those ranging from fully enclosed systems to activities requiring regular access to high powered visible and invisable beams. The Unviersity has a legal obligation to eliminate or reduce any risk associated with the use of lasers. This site sets out the University's policy on how those risks might be eliminated or if that is not practicable, how the risks can be reduced.
