The Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepeneurship is the premier international platform for accelerating entrepreneurial approaches and innovative solutions to the world's most pressing issues. The forum held a four day event which invovled a number of day meetings and catering functions.
The staff, from Ralph in coordinating the event, to John in A/V, and the team that supported the room set ups and changes were all wonderful to work with. Their patience, flexibility, responsiveness, and helpful suggestions were invaluable to presenting a successful event to the attendees.
Oxford Fashion Week, March 2011
Over 200 guests arrived in glamorous black and white tie to be greeted by an abundance of free flowing champagne and canapes before the Couture Show began. In the South Writing School atmospheric mood lighting, enchanting music, striking models and a 20ft runway provided the right setting to show off the range of designers.
The Couture Show is the highest profile event of Oxford Fashion Week and requires a spectacular conference venue. The Examination Schools provided the perfect setting for a breathtaking show. The rooms and spaces are truly exquisite and the Events team did everything they could to make the event as successful as possible. We were delighted to have supported the Oxford Thinking Campaign with the event and we hope to continue the event at the Examination Schools in 2012."
Oxford Farming Conference, January 2011
The Oxford Farming Conference hosted a three day conference which involved opening the event with a three course sit down dinner, using the South Schools for their main plenary session and a large number of break-out rooms.
The Oxford Farming Conference has been returning to the Examination Schools for many years at the beginning of January. The format of the Conference continually evolves by adding or changing arrangements to meet the requirements of delegates, sponsors and the organising Council. The staff at the Examination Schools have always gone out of their way to accomodate any changes and actively work with us to ensure that the event goes smoothly and achieves even greater levels of success each year.
Mondale Events, December 2010
Mondale Events work in conjunction with Councils, Universities, Government organisations and Health Authorities in providing IT training, Computer Security training, Project Management and Business Skills training across the UK. They held an IT fair at the Examination Schools using the South and East Schools as well as a number of break-out rooms.
I found the staff very helpful and the venue rooms have lovely features which can be easily transformed into various exhibition and conference space.
