If you are looking to host a large conference in Oxford then the Examination Schools can provide the venue. In conjunction with Conference Oxford we can help you find suitable accommodation and further hospitality options.

Charlton House promise a sound ethical approach to the environment while at the same time ensuring value for money. Their chefs will always buy British where possible. Working with the Food Standards Agency, they continually strive to improve the quality and health aspects of all their food.

Many academic and business conferences like to host their meetings at the Examination Schools as we offer a range of different sized meeting rooms. The Schools can also cater for drinks receptions and large sized dinners (200 people plus). However if you are looking for an alternative conference venue to host a drinks reception or have a dinner for 150 people or less then the University of Oxford’s Ashmolean Museum provides a sumptuous setting which is only a short walk away from the Schools. The Ashmolean can provide:

• drinks receptions for up to 800 people in the contemporary atrium of the museum
• dinner for up to 60 people in the museum’s dining room
• gala dinners for up to 150 people and drinks receptions in the Randolph Sculpture Gallery
