The North School

The North School, situated at the top of a sweeping central marble staircase, is one of the primary conference rooms and comfortably seats 330 theatre style. The room is "L" shaped and is often used either by itself or, for larger exhibitions and conferences, as an exhibition and catering space in conjunction with the South School. The meeting room has built in data projection. It is situated on the first floor.

Some of the unique features of the meeting room include the Vice Chancellor’s throne seat taken from the old exams school. Above the seat is a beautifully decorated sounding board.

Other meeting room features: The North School looks out onto the quad area and is a naturally well lit room. Natural daylight can be adjusted via black-out blinds which are positioned across all the windows. The room has overhead lighting as well as more subtle uplighting and links directly into the South School. A deaf aid loop can be provided in the room.
