Jenkins Memorial

Overview

The Jenkins Memorial Fund was established in honour of the late Lord Jenkins of Hillhead, former Chancellor of the University. The scholarships will be available for students from other Universities within the Europaeum association who will be embarking on a course of study in the humanities or social sciences in October 2010

Nationality

Graduates of any nationality from Bologna University; the Rheinische Friedrich Friedrich-Wilhelms University, Bonn; Charles University, Prague; the Jagiellonian University, Krakow; the Institut Universitaire des Hautes Etudes Internationales, Geneva; University of Leiden; Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne; Complutense University, Madrid or the University of Helsinki

Priority will be given to students following a one-year Master's degree but candidates entering a two-year Master's degree or a Second BA degree may also be considered

Apply at the same time as you apply to Oxford by selecting Jenkins Memorial in the Funding Section of the University's Graduate Application Form

Results

We expect to notify successful candidates at the end of May 2010.

A notice will appear on here when decisions have been made. If you have not heard from us by the time this notice is posted, then your application to this scheme has been unsuccessful. Due to the volume of applications received, we are unable to contact unsuccessful applicants individually or provide feedback on their applications

Other information

The award is tenable for one year only; candidates who are following two or three year graduate degrees may hold the award for the first year of their course but will be required to have other funding for the remainder of their study period
