Application procedure
|
Graduates: Apply at the same time as you apply to Oxford by selecting Oxford Australia Scholarship Fund in the University of Oxford Scholarships section of the University's graduate application form.
2nd BA: Apply for the scholarship only once you have been offered a place by your college. The application form for undergraduate scholarships will be available here in January 2010.
Applicants must include a statement
with the application form describing your reasons for applying for this course
of study and the Oxford Australia award, also include an outline of your future
career plans and intentions

Application Deadline 2 (8 January 2010 for Medical Sciences and Philosophy students; 22 January 2010 for all other subjects) for admission to Oxford.

Other information
|
Prior to departure, the scholars are invited to the British Council information sessions in Australia's capital cities.
The Scholarship Fund organises an annual lunch in Oxford in May-June. An informal gathering is organised by the scholars in November.

About the donor
|
The Oxford Australia Scholarship Fund was
established in the 1990s with donations from Australians who have studied at
Oxford and, in particular, from Mr James Fairfax AO.
