The Student Systems Support Centre (SSSC) provides guidance, training, management, and development for a variety of systems. These systems are listed and described in the 'Supported Systems' page.

As part of the SSSC's ongoing commitment to support and development of student systems, through this website we will share information about known issues with student systems, and development projects that the team are working on.

Supported Systems

The Student Systems Support Centre provides guidance, training, and support for the following systems:

System Name Description of System Further Information
eVision (for staff) eVision is the main student records system for the University of Oxford. It provides services for the administrative management of admissoions, on-course students, including enrolment of freshers, visa management, examination entry, examination results and transcripts, and also degree ceremonies.

Training documentation

Student Self Service (for students) Student Self Service is provided via eVision. Using Student Self Service, students can perform many administrative tasks, including: register for the new academic year, view their personal details, view examination entries and results, produce an enrolment certificate, and produce an interim transcript. SITS:Vision SITS:Vision is used by central administrative teams such as Student Administration (AAD) as the main student records system for the University of Oxford.

Frequently Asked Questions for OxCORT

GSS GSS is used by supervisors each term to review, monitor and comment on their students' academic progress and to assess skills and training needs. Students are given the opportunity to contribute by commenting on their own academic progress. More information about GSS and support
