Hep B Surface Antigen

Documented evidence of two MMRs

Rubella antibodies

Positive history of Chicken Pox

Varicella antibodies for those with negative history

Evidence of BCG scar

TB Quantiferon blood test for those with no scar or no history of BCG vaccination

Notes:
All Oxford medical students are classed as EPP workers
The new Department of Health ‘Green book’ guidelines also recommend:
  • Check up to date Tetanus, Diphtheria and Polio (usually done through GP)
  • Offer of vaccination against influenza (currently done through College Doctors)
