+ more

The main lecture theatre is located on the ground floor, on the right hand side of the main lift.  Furniture is moveable, but there is no level access to the stage or AV equipment (these are up three steps with no nosings and a handrail on the right-hand side).  There is, however, level access to the gallery seating area from the first floor, by exiting the lift and turning right.

Room 10b – This is located on the ground floor off the toilet lobby.  To get there, follow the main corridor from the right of the main foyer to the other end of the building.  There is one small step into the room, but there is a portable ramp available; please let the staff at reception know if you require assistance.   Alternatively, there is a level access route via the library; please ask at the issue desk.  In the seminar room itself, the chairs are moveable, but space may be tight for wheelchair users around the edge of the room.   There is level access to all presentation equipment.

Room 16 – There is no level access to this space.  Once in the room, there are rows of moveable tables and chairs, but space could be a bit tight for wheelchair users.

Room 2 - Located on the mezzanine level between the ground and first floors, level access to this space is via the secondary lift, and the door of the lift opens directly into the seminar space.  There are rows of moveable chairs, and the room is large, so there is plenty of space for wheelchair users to move around comfortably.  There is level access to all presentation equipment.

Room 3 – Is located opposite Room 2, and also accessed using the secondary lift.  You will need to pass through Room 2 to get there, so it’s helpful if you can let reception know beforehand.  Furniture is moveable, and the presentation area is level access.
