These pages describe the policies and legislation that frame our work on Equality and Diversity.

The Equality Act 2010 protects the rights of individuals and advances equality of opportunity for all. The University must uphold the Act and is subject to the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED), which requires us to publish annual reports and set equality objectives.

The University's Equality Policy sets out our commitments and underlines our expectations of all staff and students. The Equality and Diversity Panel advises the EDU on an overarching strategy for work on equality across the collegiate University. These pages give details of its terms of reference, membership, agendas and meeting notes.

These pages also provide advice on implementing the PSED through collecting equality data and conducting an equality analysis.
