Kellogg College Hub Project, Banbury road, Oxford, OX2 6PN

The University of Oxford and Kellogg College held two public consultation sessions on 26 and 27 June relating to a proposal to develop a new building in the grounds of Kellogg College and are now seeking feedback.

The new building will provide a welcoming and inclusive social hub in the form of a Common Room and café at the centre of its site and will offer a much-needed social space for students, academics and staff, with the café providing a calm and welcoming setting that will also be open to members of the local community.

Since its foundation in 1990, Kellogg College has been breaking new ground at the University of Oxford. The hub building will ensure the College’s commitment to flexible learning and an enduring sense of community will be further realised during its 25th Anniversary year.

Kellogg has appointed Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios for the proposed hub, an award-winning architectural practice with an international reputation for design quality, pioneering environmental expertise and a progressive architectural approach.

We welcome feedback on the proposals prior to the University submitting a planning application for the development. An online feedback form is available here together with an electronic version of the display informationKellogg College Hub Project Boards (7,186kb). The University will review all feedback and will take it into account before details are finalised and the detailed planning application submitted. The deadline for feedback is Monday 13 July 2015.

Any queries or feedback regarding the proposals should be sent to: public.consultation@admin.ox.ac.uk.
