Lux Awards 2014 Commended

The impressive lighting project at the Museum of National History has been Commended in the Hospitality & Leisure Project of the Year category of the 2014 annual LUX Awards.

The awards recognise the exceptional use of lighting to improve the lit environment and reduce energy, and went international for the first time this year, attracting nominations from across the globe.

The project was managed by Estates Services’ Electrical Services team – part of the Building Services section – and you can find out more about how the museum has been transformed by creative use of lighting in this video, which includes an interview with Rob Gregg, our Deputy Electrical Engineer.
