Film showcases 2016 highlights

2016 was a memorable year for Oxford University Estates Services, as demonstrated by a recent film setting out a few of our greatest successes.

The film, which got its premiere at the Estates Services Staff Briefings in December, demonstrates the remarkable variety of things our staff do.

We’ve launched the Science Transit Shuttle that’s now taking passengers between Oxford Centre and science and innovation campuses at Harwell and Old Road, and we’ve brought the technology behind the University’s CCTV system into the 21st century.

We’ve developed a new strategy to make sure we can house the graduate students of the future appropriately, and we’ve been nominated for three awards from the Royal Institute of British Architects, including spots for the Blavatnik School of Government and the Weston Library on the shortlist for the prestigious Sterling Prize – the first time any client organisation has had two such nominations in a single year.
