Compliance

The Estates Services Compliance team formed in May 2019.

The team works on Estates Services health and safety, including: safety of estates staff at work, control of contractors, and safety-critical systems. The Compliance team works to provide assurance for the areas for which it oversees.

The team will also lead on environmental risk and legal compliance for the University. Delivering the University’s Environmental Management System and supporting departments to adopt appropriate controls.

The team is developing processes and systems to support areas to meet their requirements, and will work closely with colleagues from across the institution.

Safety and health, Estates Services

The team will also develop an Estates Services a Health and Safety Management system. Estates Services staff should access the Staff Intranet for details.
